KJ Scouten

KJ Scouten is an author of action and mystery. Born and raised in rural Montana and Wyoming she is proud to be from “the middle of nowhere”. Though she now calls Texas home she weaves the love and respect she has for the remote landscapes of her youth into every story. As well as the character of those that live there. When she’s not writing KJ spends her time with her horses and dog, hikes the numerous State Parks close to her, listens to true crime podcasts almost constantly and reads every chance she gets. Her debut novel “Something North of Justice” is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2025.
